- All original tags, labels, and packaging must remain attached and intact.
- Items may be tried on for fit, but must not be worn beyond this purpose.
- Orders placed in multiple sizes or variations with the intention of partially returning items are not permitted.
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not comply with these conditions.
2. Return Timeframe
You must notify us of your intention to return an item within 30 days of receiving your order.
Requests submitted outside this period may not be accepted.
3. Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Contact us at support@bennettmelbourne.com within 30 days of delivery.
- Once approved, you will receive the return address of our designated fulfilment partner.
- The item must be shipped back at your own expense.
- We strongly recommend using a shipping method with tracking and proof of delivery.
As part of our fulfilment process, return addresses may be located outside Australia. Customers are responsible for ensuring that all required shipping documentation is completed correctly.
4. Refunds
Once the returned item has been received at the designated return address and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
If approved:
- A refund will be issued within 14 days
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law
Sale items:
Products purchased during a sale or promotional event are not eligible for a full refund. In such cases, we may offer a partial refund of up to 25% of the purchase price, at our discretion.
Please note that processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
5. Important Liability Information
- We are not responsible for lost return shipments if tracking is not provided.
- If tracking confirms delivery to the return address provided, the shipment is considered received.
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.
- Address errors must be reported within 24 hours of placing the order.
- If an incorrect address is provided and the order has already been processed, any resulting costs are the responsibility of the customer.
6. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
